I have three savings bonds, they’re the EE series.
They are all 50’s. And two are from 94 and one’s from 95.

Do you know how much they are worth?

Look at the bond, it will have an issue date stamped on it. The 96 refers to the year, the 08 referes to the month (of August). You should then be able to find the value of your savings bond.
I hope that helps.

I think you’ll find they are worth 50 each.
Bonds tyically sell for something less than their “face value”, and increase in value over the maturation period until they reach their maturity date, at which time they are worth the face value…

TreasuryDirect.gov is a website run by the gov’t that can tell you exactly what your bonds are worth.
click here to view their “calculator” page. Have your savings bonds info (serial #, etc) handy. Enter them in and poof, it’ll tell you exactly what they are worth if you were to cash them in today
